About the artist
A way of seeing
I photograph slowly, in a fast country. My work is an argument for attention for the belief that the world, looked at long enough, returns the gaze.
Mayur Channagere is a photographer, filmmaker and visual storyteller based out of India. After over a decade in the corporate world, he founded AGNA a production house in 2010, building a career around photography and visual storytelling.
His personal work moves between portraiture, landscapes, abstraction, and explorations of sound, ritual and human presence. Some photographs develop into long-term projects, others stand on their own. Across these varied subjects runs a curiosity about people, places and the things we don’t always notice.
Available for select commissions, collaborations, workshops , talks and exhibition enquiries.
